“I am Jake Carter and am here with one of the mayan rulers, I am here with king Copan ruler of K'inich Yax K'uk Mo. I was just talking to Copan about the mayan social structures. We were recently talking about the king's responsibilities. You may not know how much work our king has to do for us he watches over the land make sure nothing happens, he keeps peace within our village and helps everyone he can king Copan is also a major factor in our kingdoms success.
Next up we have Copan Jr. a member of the royal family training to be a king and lead us like his father. Copan Jr. has lots of responsibility he has to stick to his training schedule learn everything his father's knows. Copan’s wife has to prepare food for Copan every night and ' the house.
We have John the president here with us now he will answer some question about how much work being a priest is. John States “Being a priest is not easy task it takes a lot hard work. Every Sunday I have to go to church and preach to the great man in the sky.”
Next we will be talking to One of the nobles. Bob the noble states “My job is mainly to defend the kingdom, The priest, and the king. My job is very hard I have to go through tireless hours of training each day and when a war comes I have to defend my kingdom .
Next we will talk to one of the peasants he state my job is not that hard infact I don’t have a job but sometimes I see the artists trying to see art work.
